The Annual Summer Used Book Sale is scheduled for June 5 – June 8, 2019. The preview sale will happen on June 4. We will have the event indoors in the B2 Conference Center at Central Library. 10am-4pm each day of the sale. Come on out!

– Rainbow Militia will be spinning aerial arts high in the sky above the green line. See them twirl and spin on silk fabrics throughout the evening.

– Artist Greg Wazil is bringing his metal menagerie of animals for an outdoor sculpture garden of circus animals.

– Enjoy circus style foods including a cotton candy station, popcorn station, snow cone station and more.

Sunday evenings at City Park Jazz is one of the highlights of summer in Denver. If you aren’t familiar, City Park Jazz is 501(c)3 organization that produces 10 FREE jazz concerts each summer in City Park. Folks from every neighborhood in Denver convene around the pavilion and lake in City Park each Sunday, armed with picnic blankets, epic food spreads, friends, and family to listen to the free concert and watch the sun set behind the mountains. This year, we are very proud to sponsor City Park Jazz and offer a free, City Park Jazz Beer Garden within the Pavilion by the lake. Proceeds from all sales benefit City Park Jazz and help bring this amazing Denver tradition to life. Each City Park Jazz Sunday will have a beer garden with comfy lounge chairs, a full lineup of Denver Beer Co. beers as well as O&A Colorado Craft Hard Seltzer. Held each year since 1972, the festival celebrates the Japanese American heritage and culture through live entertainment, food, arts and crafts, and informative exhibits and demonstrations. Admission is FREE! Festival hours are Saturday, June 22: 11am – 6pm and Sunday, June 23: 11am – 4pm. Come visit our Kid’s Craft Area where kids can make Japanese crafts. We have an exciting list of new-release and classic films! Plus, enjoy grab-and-go food from Bittersweet – Cafe and a glass of wine from our outdoor bar! The courtyard will open at 6:30pm, and movies will begin at dusk (around 8:30pm) in the Bittersweet Courtyard every 3rd Wednesday from May to August.
